Barbara E. Richardson, 75, of Marion, went to be with the Lord Saturday, January 23, 2010, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Marion, by Rev. John Louk. The family greeted friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2010, at the funeral home. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Ralph; children: Stephen (Eleanor) Richardson of Ely, Cynthia (Don) Carpenter of Fayette, Michael (Gayle) Richardson of Marion, and Cheryl (Mark) Millsap of Olathe, Kan.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Carol Laughman.

Barbara was born September 16, 1934, the daughter of George and Alberta (Fry) Laughman.
